We are looking for a smart, energetic, and customer-focused NYSC Corps Member to join our fintech team as a Telesales & Customer Service Intern.
Key Responsibilities
Contact prospective customers to introduce the company’s products and services.
Follow up on leads and convert prospects into active customers.
Educate customers on loan products, features, and benefits.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Follow up with customers regarding applications, repayments, and service-related concerns.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and sales activities.
Meet assigned sales and customer service targets.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell relevant products and services.
Escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support customer retention and satisfaction.
Requirements
Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good persuasion, negotiation, and customer engagement abilities.
Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve set targets.
Ability to speak or understand Hausa is an added advantage.
