These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://interns.betteroffservice.com and all related services offered by Interns by  Betteroffservice (the “Company”). By using our Platform — including browsing internships, creating profiles, applying for roles, or posting jobs — you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our Platform immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including interns, companies, and other visitors.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Platform only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Platform with the consent of your parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts & Security

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. When you register:

Your interactions with other users and any internships offered, accepted, or completed are solely between you and the other party.

Users are prohibited from:

  • Posting false, misleading, or inappropriate information.

  • Using the Platform in a way that violates laws or third-party rights.

  • Attempting to access or interfere with accounts, data, or systems that do not belong to you.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, software, and designs — is the property of Betteroffservice or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any of our content without prior written permission.

6. Internship & Job Postings

Companies posting internships or job opportunities must ensure:

  • All information provided is accurate and lawful.

  • Opportunities comply with applicable labour and internship laws.

  • There are no unlawful conditions attached to applying or participating.

Interns applying for roles must provide truthful information in applications and respect the terms set by the company offering the internship.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Betteroffservice and its affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform or your interactions with other users.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be effective once posted on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nigeria
